Louis Sullivan Summer House

This project was the mid term for my Design 110 Rendering Class. The class is based around Google SketchUp and a small amount of Auto Desk's AutoCAD. I used both softwares for this project.
In this project I had to design, on SketchUp, the Louis Sullivan Summer House located in Ocean Springs Mississippi. Construction on the house started in 1890 and features a T-Shaped floor plan and hipped roofs. My job was to model the house in sketch up with a front view and a floor plan view. To do so I used AutoCAD to lay out my floor plan and I imported it into SketchUp.
This is my rendered front view of the Sullivan Summer House. The coolest part about this house, to me, is the front stairs. The stairs wrap around the tree as they move up. You will be able to see that better in the floor plan view.
This is the view of the floor plan. As you can see I have labeled all of the rooms to show which is which. In this view you can see a little bit better about how the stairs are laided out.
